hi singapore

hey!
so I'm back in Singapore!
and so far, I have enjoyed some goodness of the food that this country always offer me.

thanx tianhee for picking me up from the airport.
it's such a nice feeling to see ur good friend, a familiar face to greet you.

I'm leaving on thursday.
but I'll be back next month.
hopefully I can hang out with as many of my friends as I can.
so if you guys don't mind clearing your schedule and making plans with me, I'd be glad to meet up. :)

even tho the concert venue was pretty much a drug fest I can say.
and despite the sweaty ppl that graze themselves against you, it was a good night.
a very good night indeed.
I enjoyed myself.
the lighting used for the show was awesome. beyond what I expected of anything.
and there was a lot of energy in their performance, it was so great!
altho, the fact that I was pretty much shorter than everyone else and I stood in the back, that didn't stop me from enjoying the show.
that's all I have for now.
but for those who wants to see them play one day, I say, "GO FOR IT! you won't regret!"

I'll upload a video when I can so you know what I'm talking about.
but still, it doesn't beat experiencing it live! :)

angels & demons movie

it's bout time I blogged.


anyways, I caught Angels & Demons today.
it wasn't as dark and exciting as I thought it would be, but I still enjoyed it.
the storyline still flowed smoothly from scene to scene.
the arts and sculptures in Vatican City and the surrounding somewhat astound me and I would like to see it in real life. it would be amazing, I bet.
parts of the movie that made me cringe was nth related to violence or disgust of what the characters portrayed but more to the fact of destroying the historical archives and buildings.
and I reckon the movie would be better if it was darker and scarier, keeping you at the edge of your seat kinda stuff.

over the past days, I have thoughts that I've been wanting to put on here but as time goes by and due to procrastination, I now can't seem to rmb wad I was gonna say.
oh well... maybe it wasn't meant to be here. prolly just a passing thought.

also, if anyone would like to buy me that angels and demons movie poster (that I showed above), it will be gladly appreciated and will definitely be put up on my bedroom wall. haha.

it's interesting how the blogs have changed and the way we speak or type.
I'm actually kinda glad that I don't blog like the way I used to.
altho I blog less these days but still... it just makes more sense and it's so less childish.

I know one of my difference is that at one point of time, I decided to change my I's in capital when talking bout myself rather than just the "i".

so it's been a week since I last blogged.
it just seems that there's not much that I wanna say.

well, I know I can think of some random facts like...
I've been watching "one tree hill", and I've finished the entire season 1.
I think I started watching on Friday.
yeah, I know it's freakishly fast. hahahaha.
but that's just me, you know...
I watch a tv series and I just get hooked on it.
and series or sequel with me, I just have to watch it from the very beginning or else it doesn't really make much sense.

so it's still also assignments galore for me.
the photoshop assignments just keep coming!
seriously, it can be fun sometimes.
but the idea of it or them being called "assignments" DO NOT make it fun at all.
but at least all those work and research make me feel intelligent. for that bit.
haha.

I'm off now. gotta catch some good night sleep before I become a total insomniac!

I hope u did. coz mine was pretty good.

went camping on friday, even tho I had the biggest headache / migrane everrrrr and even tho it's only for the night.
I still had fun.
oh plus, sleeping in the tent - cold and it was raining, peeing in bushes and yeh things like that.
and also not to mention, Cam and I got lost on our way to the campsite.
thick fog - can't bearly see, ended up at the top of some mountain.
and WE SAW A DEER! (that's like the most exciting wildlife encounter ever! even more exciting than seeing a kangaroo or a wombat on the road!)
with the biggest MIGRANE still!
then easter egg hunt in the morning. woot!

oh and I went out to PLASTIC.
u know, it actually feels nice to be back there.
maybe it's bcoz I haven't been out in a while. but oh well...

and I still have mid-semester break till next week.

I've been having quiet and more chillax weekends rather than going out.
good way to save some money.

so I go to house parties. chill with my friends.

my apartment, however, need to go thru a major clean up.
which I actually gotta wake up for tmr.
so I'm out for now.

so uni started for me this week.
so far so good.
but I know I have a lot of research and readings to do.

even tho I'm only taking 2 units this semester.

I didn't actually go for 'stray cats'.
I posted this bcoz I went to see 'death cab for cutie'. and they're good.
the opening act, 'youth group' was good too.
'the forum' is such a good venue for gigs. and that word I can't seem to find when I tried to put it in a sentence. good 'acoustic(s)'.

first this. I have 3 more days of 'gig-going-to'.
I'm gonna be exhausted by the end of the week.
I can only imagine me indulging in the adrenaline rush of excitement of going to these gigs at the end of the week.
I'll prolly skip partying and stay in on the saturday night to do so.
not to mention, it'll save me some money too.
since I'm prolly gonna spend heaps on band merch and such.

surfing.

I actually haven't blogged in a while.
been so lazy.

so I've been surfing. since monday neways.
I got back today.
I'm all sore. but it's all good.
I had so much fun.
this is my 2nd time surfing and I'd definitely go again. despite the soreness.
I'll upload pictures next time.

so the weather has cooled down. and everything, well almost everything is back to normal.
I'm getting my dvd player back from the DHL guy on monday.
so YAY!

this summer has been lazy.
real lazy.
I should get up off my ass and go surfing or something.
that'd be fun! I know.
coz I did it once and I have been looking forward to doing it again.
so hopefully this will happen. :)
