I didn't actually go for 'stray cats'.
I posted this bcoz I went to see 'death cab for cutie'. and they're good.
the opening act, 'youth group' was good too.
'the forum' is such a good venue for gigs. and that word I can't seem to find when I tried to put it in a sentence. good 'acoustic(s)'.

first this. I have 3 more days of 'gig-going-to'.
I'm gonna be exhausted by the end of the week.
I can only imagine me indulging in the adrenaline rush of excitement of going to these gigs at the end of the week.
I'll prolly skip partying and stay in on the saturday night to do so.
not to mention, it'll save me some money too.
since I'm prolly gonna spend heaps on band merch and such.

surfing.

I actually haven't blogged in a while.
been so lazy.

so I've been surfing. since monday neways.
I got back today.
I'm all sore. but it's all good.
I had so much fun.
this is my 2nd time surfing and I'd definitely go again. despite the soreness.
I'll upload pictures next time.

so the weather has cooled down. and everything, well almost everything is back to normal.
I'm getting my dvd player back from the DHL guy on monday.
so YAY!

this summer has been lazy.
real lazy.
I should get up off my ass and go surfing or something.
that'd be fun! I know.
coz I did it once and I have been looking forward to doing it again.
so hopefully this will happen. :)

I'm quite anticipating to see how new year will be like.
spending it with Jess in Melbourne.
this is gonna be different from the "tradition" I always have, which is Singapore, friends, foam spray + silly strings spray, Orchard Road and of coz my place and the playground.

for one thing, I guess I'm not expecting a new year's kiss.
I'm feeling bit nostalgic thinking bout 2008's new year.
but oh well, we move on, right?

I hope 2009 will be a better year.
this all sound so cliche to wish for something better every year only to think back and realize that it's been the same thing year after year after year.
I feel that 2008 was a disaster for me but also a point where I grew in every aspect.
my year was a mess. damn, I was a mess.
so I really hope 2009 doesn't bring me too much shit as 2008 did.
please. that's my hope, my wish and I dream that it will come true.
because honestly, I don't know how I could live through another year like 2008.
too much pain, really. but I grew.
which makes me look forward to the goodness of 2009.

and I hope for everyone around me to have a good year ahead too.

tired tired tired.
I don't know how I find the energy to last me thru a whole day really.
my body clock is kinda fucked.
I can sleep at 4am and still wake up like 6 hours later without an alarm.
and last friday and saturday, I actually woke up at like 7 and was out of the house before u can even say 7.30 or 8. and I mean am, like in the morning.

this holiday is getting better.
my lil cousins are back from bali and justine and pam are back from LA.
hang out time. YAYS! :D
and I've been shopping heaps too.
just hope that I can fit everything into my luggage when I leave.

and and and, one thing I must add!
I can'e believe the amount of VOLCOM stuff they have here!

I finally got some proper sleep.

Last week, I was in Queensland.
"hello, sunshine!"
but only to know that it was the rainiest time ever.
Laura and I managed to get some sun in Brisbane altho there was a storm too.
kinda reminded me of home.
thunder and lightning, and rain, the smell of soil and blackouts.
I stayed over for anight at Laura's aunt's place. had home-cooked meal. YUMMMM!
and pretty much a very lazy sunday.

it kept raining in gold coast tho.
got rained on all tuesday while I was at dreamworld.
bummer! but I still had fun.
left on the Saturday, came back to Melbourne on Wednesday night.
man, what a trip. :)

finally finished with exams.
if I pass all my units, it means, goodbye 2nd year!
